Scanning Electron Microspe (SEM)

I produced a documentary explaining the function and impact of the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The film breaks down its primary components—including the electron gun, specimen chamber, and computer terminal—and demonstrates how SEM imaging enables researchers to examine microscopic materials at extreme levels of detail.

Featuring interviews with Stephanie Ware, Manager of the SEM Morphology Lab, and Philipp Heck, Senior Director of Research, the documentary connects advanced technology to real-world scientific research conducted at the Field Museum.
