My collaborating with local videographers and gardeners from Chicago was an incredible experience. This exhibition explores how both human and non-human migrants learn to adapt, grow, and thrive within a city of steel and glass. Through the perspective of plants, it reveals the deep connections between nature, health, and the process of putting down roots in an urban environment.
This documentary focuses on local Chicago gardeners that sustains urban green spaces. I conducted research, gathered stories, and produced visual and audio assets provided by the Little Village neighborhood. The project highlights local residents who transform their shared spaces into thriving gardens that nourish communities.
